Louis Agassiz Fuertes Remastered #1
We’re pleased to introduce our collection of bird prints from Olof Rudbeck d.y.’s 17th century Fogelboken collection, drawn and painted between 1693 and 1710. The collection of watercolors was privately held until 1985, when it was purchased by the Swedish government. René Coeckelbergh published a facsimile edition of Fogelboken in 1986, making it public for the first time.
Our prints are digitally remastered from scans of René Coeckelbergh's 1986 facsimile edition of the original watercolors. We print them on the finest acid-free cotton rag paper using archival pigment inks. The resulting Giclee prints are richly detailed and ready to meld with any décor.
We use museum-quality cotton rag archival paper for our Rudbeck prints. It’s acid, chlorine, and lignin free, and mould made in England.
Each Rudbeck print is handmade and checked for adherence to our strict color and quality standards. We print on a large-format ink jet printer with a 10-color ink set.
